Cap de CreusIf you arrive at the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, be it in search of those advertising coves of the Costa Brava, lunar landscapes, culture, history, hiking routes, good food ... you are in luck. The only thing you may lack is time to get to all sides, and that is where the sun rises the earliest on the Peninsula. Don't be fooled by its small size!

L'EscalaL'Escala is full of tourists, but in spring, autumn and winter, it is an oasis of peace and tranquility. L'Escala is famous for its anchovies, unsurpassed since Greek times, but above all, it is in its municipal area where the ruins of Empúries are located. And there are also the beaches and coves such as Montgó, on the slopes of Montgrí, perfect for scuba diving.
-
Port de la SelvaThe Port de la Selva preserves much of the quiet fishing village that it used to be, very close to Cap de Creus, with its white houses covered with red tiles. When arriving, it is best to go directly to Moll d'en Balleu, from where you can see the small bay delimited by the small Cap del Vol and Punta de la Creu. In the historic center stands, proud and immaculately white, the church of Santa Maria de les Neus, rebuilt after the war, which houses a Gothic image of Saint Peter, made of polychrome stone, almost two meters high.
